The government has announced that the public can securely provide information regarding narcotics trafficking or related suspicious activities to security forces at any time by calling the 1818 hotline.
The 1818 hotline, introduced in conjunction with the "Rata-ma Ekata" (The Whole Country Together) national operation aimed at eradicating the drug menace, currently operates 24 hours a day from the "Rata-ma Ekata" main office and media center.
The government states that this hotline was established to enable the public to provide accurate information to security forces regarding narcotics trafficking, distribution, or any associated suspicious activities occurring across the island.
The confidentiality of informants is fully protected, and the service is coordinated under the direct supervision of the Presidential Secretariat and the "Rata-ma Ekata" National Operations Council.
