The Colombo Fort Magistrate's Court ordered the release on bail of Member of Parliament Namal Rajapaksa, who had been remanded over money laundering charges related to the Airbus incident.
Accordingly, Colombo Fort Magistrate Pasan Amarasena ordered the release of the suspect, Namal Rajapaksa, on a cash bail of Rs. 500,000 and two personal bail bonds of Rs. 100 million each.
